On the 30th June 2020, the latest guidance on hearing care related to Covid-19 was updated allowing us to introduce routine appointments again with appropriate precautions.
Back to business
This means that we are accepting all appointment enquiries and with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) we are able to conduct business as usual.
Irrigation
Included in the updated guidance was details on our ability to conduct ear irrigation procedures again. There were initial concerns that this was an aerosol generating procedure but this was later retracted.
This is great news because it isn’t always possible to remove wax with microsuction alone.
